IUD/IUS Information

Patients that wish to have IUD/IUS inserted must in the first instance have a telephone appointment with a Doctor.  Please telephone the Practice to discuss further.

Once discussed with the GP and your appointment has been made please read the information below:

PREPARING FOR THE INSERTION OF AN INTRAUTERINE DEVICE (COPPER IUD) OR AN INTRAUTERINE SYSTEM (IUS)

We are keen to make your clinic visit as straightforward and streamlined as possible.  It is important that you have read all the information and are suitable for the procedure on the day you come. You can also discuss other methods with us as well and ask any questions.     Please bring the form below with you when you attend the clinic.
